Church Road is in two parts - eastern and western. The newer end is the
eastern with houses built within the last 20 years. |

we near the Bury the houses are older. Here we
have Nettleworth House. In days gone by this used to be the Rectory (vicarage) |

The western part of Church Road leads off Newcourt Road towards the entrance
to St. Mary's Church which is on the northern
side of the Bury. On one side of the road on a raised pavement (sidewalk)
is a terrace of fine Georgian Houses including the former rectory. |
