| Salisbury Street is possibly the narrowest road
in the village. It leads from Fore Street through
to the Doctor's surgery, the Community
Hall, the main car park and Wyndham Road.
It may not even be called Salisbury Street - rumour has it that it was so named by a local who was at the time drawing a map of the village for a guided walk. He could not think of anything else to call it and as it points roughly in the direction of Salisbury he so named it. Others call it Doctor's Lane! |
