| The School has a very active Parent Teacher
Association and all parents of children attending the school are members
of the PTA. A committee elected annually at the AGM, which is held in January,
manages the PTA. The PTA aims to provide an opportunity for parents, children
and staff at the school to meet in a social, fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Fund raising events allow facilities and items for education to be provided
which can not be provided from statutory funds. Various events are organised
by the PTA committee throughout the school year. The events vary from being
adult only, children only and family events, some are designed specifically
as fund raising events while others make little profit but everybody has
a good time. Certain events are annual and fit in with the school year. |

Funds raised by the PTA have been used in school on various items including
the following; computing equipment, books, coach trips and musical instruments.
The main project at the time of writing is The School Grounds Project.
The PTA is a member of PTA Devon and of the national body, NCPTA. |
